Mario Galaxy 1 is my favorite Mario game of all time. And Galaxy 2 makes a close 2nd. Take everything good about Mario Galaxy, and just expand it. Give it more levels, new mechanics, new story, but don’t take away what made the original special. That’s how this game is. Mario Galaxy 2 take the fun gravity and planets from the first game, so it mostly does feel like the first game with new levels. But once Yoshi comes in, you just can’t go back to the first Mario Galaxy. All jokes aside, it really just feels like the first Mario Galaxy with new levels, which is actually a good thing because the first one played so well. The epic music is back, the great visuals are back, and my boi Lubba got introduced. If you loved the first game, you’ll love this one as well. Another childhood masterpiece for me.
This isn't just the best Mario game on the Wii, it's arguably the best Mario game on any platform. A ton of fan service, served up with multiple slices of newly minted Mario gameplay take Galaxy 2 beyond a level that I think anyone could have expected.
Simultaneously more and less than its predecessor. It expands and elaborates on the gameplay in unpredictable ways, but the last one felt like a bigger, more complete adventure. That said, better core gameplay with less window dressing is infinitely preferable to the reverse.
There's a lot that it improves from Galaxy 1, but overall this is basically just 'more super mario galaxy'. There are new ideas, new mechanics, new levels. Sometimes it exceeds the heights of its predecessor, but its not nearly as innovative as Galaxy 1 overall.
A disappointing sequel to one of the best games ever made. The comet amazing observatory is replaced by a boring and small Mario Head (literally...), the worlds are organised in a Super Mario Bros style instead of a sandbox, which is definitely not the best approach for a 3D Mario. Rosalina, one of my favorite characters from the Mario franchise, has been replaced by a fat, ugly, purple luma (at least I think it's a luma...). The boss fights are boring, which is a huge letdown compared to the first game. The only thing that has been added is Yoshi, but you can only use him for 5 levels and it's even that fun. And what's more you can't redo the game as Luigi, what's the point of unlocking him once you've already finished the game?
Não gostei do jogo, achei muito chato, para mim mario acabou no 2 japones, e a serie galaxy eu nao gostei tambem, o jogo é bonito e vejo que muitos gostaram, mas eu nao gostei, achei enjoativo
SummarySuper Mario Galaxy 2, the sequel to the galaxy-hopping original game, includes the gravity-defying, physics-based exploration from the first game, but is loaded with entirely new galaxies and features to challenge players. On some stages, Mario can pair up with his dinosaur buddy Yoshi and use his tongue to grab items and spit them back ...
